AFSCME Council 32 Endorses Judge Chris Taylor for Wisconsin Supreme Court

MADISON, Wis. — AFSCME Council 32 announced today that its PEOPLE Committee voted to endorse Judge Chris Taylor in the upcoming election for Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Council 32 represents public service workers across Wisconsin, including state and local government workers who provide essential services that communities rely on every day.
“Judge Chris Taylor has demonstrated a commitment to working families in Wisconsin,” said Paul Spink, president of AFSCME Wisconsin. “Our members believe her values align with the values of the people who provide public services across our state.”
AFSCME Council 32’s PEOPLE Committee approved the endorsement in accordance with the union’s established endorsement process.
“I am incredibly honored to earn the support of AFSCME Wisconsin, which represents thousands of state, county, municipal, and frontline workers across our state,” said Judge Chris Taylor. “The people who keep our communities running deserve a fair shot and a justice system that treats them with the dignity and the respect they deserve. On the Supreme Court, I will always apply the law fairly and independently to protect the rights of Wisconsin workers.”
Council 32 encourages its members to participate in the Supreme Court election and other local contests by voting early or on Election Day, April 7.
