As a member of AFSCME Local 1954 and a public safety worker, Charles knows that having a strong voice in the workplace makes the difference. "I wish the public knew that unions have always striven for essential workers and we're continuing to do so."
In his own words: "I love being a nurse and helping people. I am an advocate for patients even when they can't be an advocate for themselves. It can be a challenge but its's enjoyable." As an essential worker, Charles provides excellent care to his patients, even in a pandemic.
